The Mother of the above child comes from a very poor family who survived with a very small land and depends on casual jobs to get food. The grandmother of the baby became ill and passed on, the sister to the mother of the child also was ill and also died and she had four young children who were distributed amongst the relatives. The mother of the baby became disturbed with the happenings and it led to being mentally disturbed. She started moving around and later became pregnant and gave birth. She was taken to the hospital and was declared unfit to take care of the baby then referred to a mental hospital for further treatment. The area Chief recommended the child to be brought to the home
