Brian comes from Taboino village which is not far from the Baby Home. His mother passed on on 16/01/2020, leaving him under the care of his grandmother who is epileptic, landless, and also has a large family to look after. His grandmother depends only on casual jobs and also help from well-wishers. We were also told that she normally leaves Brian locked in the house as she goes around her village looking and begging for food.  It was through the help of our Area Bishop Hezron Korir who referred Brian to us since he knows Brian’s grandmother and the struggles she has been through. Indeed Brian needs help since it is clearly seen that he was not feeding well and also other basic needs were not being catered for. In addition, after the doctor’s examination, he told us that Brian is malnourished, and for that reason, a nutritionist from the nearby health facility is helping us check on his diet.
