Baby Crystal was found by neighbors thrown inside a pit latrine at a place called Boito Centre in
Bomet county which is 10 kilometres from our home. The baby was rescued by the neighbors and they
reported to the area chief. The case was reported to the police by the area chief who rushed the baby to
Kapkatet hospital for examination and treatment. The investigation was started immediately and the police were able to find out who the mother of the child was. The mother confess that she had given birth and thrown the baby inside a pit latrine. The
mother was immediately arrested. The baby was brought to us through the children’s officer after she had
stayed in the hospital for two months receiving medications. We thank God the baby is doing good now
and We request your prayers as We take care of baby Crystal.
