Enock’s mom (Joyce) separated from her husband 5 years ago. Their four children stay with their father. He remarried at some point. After the separation, Joyce went to stay with her parents and family members. She was healthy. She did not know she was pregnant until she started having severe headaches which medicine did not help. She was rushed to the hospital and it was found out that she was seven months pregnant with high blood pressure. She was transferred to a larger hospital for treatment. They induced labor but after delivery she was in ICU for 9 days. Then she passed away. Enock was in the hospital for 3 weeks.  The grandmother who is supposed to care for him is unable to do so. The village chief, family and pastor of their church brought Enock to Mogogosiek Baby Home.
